Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster. After ops and RT my wife is going to have a full glossectomy in three weeks' time. I've read Kate's blog and all eh post I can find about full glossectomies but still have lots of questions.

Specifically, I want to hear from people about the big challenges during the recovery time in hospital and the first month or so after getting out. What can we expect and is there anything we can do to be prepared.

My wife is 31 and keeps pretty good health apart from the obvious. We also have a busy 18 month old son - any ideas on how he will cope with the big changes to his mum?
