I haven't been on this website for a while - my computer died & I lost my password. However, you have been on my mind and I have wondered how you were doing. You have been very open about sharing your feelings & experiences and it has helped me understand my brother's experience. Thank you so much for sharing.
I wish I could say my brother is doing well but he isn't. LIke you, he has had a reoccurence. Like you, he has not responded well to the chemo. He isn't yet on palliative care, but it is just a matter of time. He made it just a little over two & a half years (he was stage IV, tongue cancer) before he developed lung cancer. You are a very special person and you have dealt with this horrible disease with grace and you have helped us caregivers understand a bit more what you and our loved ones are going thru. Thank you, Candace, sister of a beloved brother who had stage IV tongue cancer, now has stage III-b lung cancer | | |

What do we feel when the wind is no longer to our back, and we give up trying to understand "why"? Is it really given to us, and we understand what this life was for? I have to think so...only because I've met a few people like you. Danny, you are a special person to me and so many others here. Come see me, ok? I'll be waiting in my dreams for the answers. I love you, Mandi
