She had the tumor removed 6 weeks ago and a right neck dissection, 54 lymph nodes removed, all clear. She was doing very well in her recovery until a week ago, since then she has had constant nausea and dry heaving. Its unlikely to be a virus or bacterial infection because she has no symptoms when she is lying down and can sleep ok. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience? Could it be a balance thing, or inner ear? She had a lot removed from her right shoulder and therefore that side is quite low down.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I didn't have a ND or tongue surgery but I would tell her to see a doctor as her symptoms could be a result of many different conditions.
