Talk to your doctors and perhaps an on staff nutritionists. The recover is very slow and sometimes just as intense as the Tx. I was eating appx 3000 cals a day and I never gained a pound during the first year of my recovery so it tells me that my body really needed every bit of fuel I was giving it just to keep up with my recovery process.

Also please correct your signature line re the Tx dates.

We have a diet plan here in hospital they give him feed every 2 hour with suppliments like Nourish and Glutimune. But he finds it really difficult to walk or even sit . we do take him for walking rounds twice a day but these are short . So till he is able to walk around comfortably we will be keeping him in hospital, as its much better environment there. If we get him home now many of friends might come for visit and we dont want him to get any infection from them.

What is his problem with walking or sitting? Is it just total weakness or some physical problem. I can't image anything his treatment did that could cause a physical problem related to walking and sitting. If it's overall weakness then resting, "food", hydration and time will probably do the trick. The sitting part perplexes me as I was never uncomfortable sitting or lying around when I was being treated or in my recovery.

i dont think its any physical problem, i know for sure its weakness as he is 4 kilos under weight now. we are trying to get his weight up lets see .
He sits on the bed wen the back portion os the bed is made slant.
but sitting on chair is issue as after a few minutes he feels drousy.
i will check his status today cause yesterday was the first day when he sat for long time and walked 3 times ...
totally he has lost 12 kilos, but just after radiation got over he was 57kg which is normal ... but this one month hospitalisation with all issues has made him loose 7 kgs ...
We need to get him to atleast 54 now.

Also i changed the dates in signature smile

Sounds like he needs a lot more nourishment than he is getting. I know when I started pouring down over 3000 calories a day I immediately started to fell less tired, both mentally and physically.

Hope he gets better soon.
