Didn't mean the tool thing as a negative as you need to use whatever you can to accomplish your goals right now and you know what they are. As far as David, great name BTW, at least he probably won't remember this ordeal either.

I have never been so busy. It was like people were coming out of the ground. I took on over 100 new clients (had over 600 to begin with) and ended up extending 126 corporations and 213 individuals. Oh and I fired my only CPA employee in November and never found a replacement which left me as the only one to prepare all returns. My day started at 4:30 am and I usually went home at 8 pm or so everyday since about Feb 15th. My left eye started twitching about a month ago and I just got used to it. I haven't been on my bike in 3 months and my tax software crashed 3 times April 15th. I just was able to confirm (today at 7 am) that all but 6 of my tax returns were accepted by the IRS as timely filed. So now with April 15th past I plan to start riding again and work less hours and my eye has already stopped twitching. Thanks for letting me vent.

I can't imagine the pressure you have been under. I prepare three returns (not prepare, just gather info) and that is enough to put me under...I really hate it! On top of that, my box to my CPA was lost by the Post Office this year even though I sent it certified. Some dork had laid it in the wrong place and it was eventually found but I thought that I might have to just slit my wrists to redo all of that.
Glad your deadline has passed and you can now work some sane hours. On the other hand, look at what a gift you have been given...the fact that your body has been able to handle all of that stress this year...you are alive to see April 15, 2008!

I now just want to chill but I don't see that opportunity just yet. We, the restaurant, has 2 huge outside events this weekend and it is spreading us way to thin. Maybe next week will be better.
