The good news is that I am feeling good, with only the neck\shoulder discomfort and dry mouth to contend with these days. The bad news is that since I have no obvious physical limitations (though many mental ones), I had no obvious or available excuse for not shoveling the 16 inches of snow we have gotten since noon yesterday! Another 3 to 5" expected today and tonight before this moves on. Wow -- usually our golf course opens by March 17 -- probably not this year! Maybe open for sledding, but that is about it.
For those of you in warmer climates, I am jealous!!! Jeff SCC Right BOT Dx 3/28/2007 T2N2a M0G1,Stage IVa Bilateral Neck Dissection 4/11/2007 39 x IMRT, 8 x Cisplatin Ended 7/11/07 Complete response to treatment so far!!

Today I got my snow blower out and also did my 4 neighbors driveways in the culdisac we live in. We had to shovel the ends of the driveways as the snow was to deep from the snow plows. We also did this the night before!
I never imagined I would be doing this 6 months out from finishing treatment. I am also up to 2 miles running each day on my treadmill as I am training for the 5k races in the Subway Ohio Challenge Series race curcuit.

I have had my house open all day... the cats are in hog heaven.
You can give me a hard time in August when the hurricanes are threatening and the humidity is 100%...we will pay the price for having good weather in the winter.
Stay warm, Deb

(by the way, watch your neck and shoulder issues with shoveling--I find mine can be really aggravated by the muscles it takes to use a shovel--snowblower not so much)
