Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

Hang in there, hopefuly this will all be over soon. So glad the radiation is done! My Dad's last treatment is Tuesday! (Although he has now lost about 48 pounds!!! )

LOL I wonder if your dad feels skinny like I do. I don't even know the guy in the mirror looking back at me. I think they gave me some extra, " Let's Knock Him Out " meds today. I can't seem to keep my eyes open. In fact, I'm going to go lay in bed and hope either the pain lets up or I go to sleep.

Today I look like a chipmunk with it's jaws full of acorns. LOL If it isn't swollen, it's bleeding. I'll make sure there are updates.
