It takes a lot of courage to go into surgery and put yourself in someone else's hands. I was not just scared, terrified was the word. You are very brave, just smile when you wake up and know the worst is over!! Keep in touch, Debbie

Over how many weeks is that? 7? 8? That is a dangerous rate at which to lose weight and it really doesn't matter whether you "had it to lose". It's a clear sign you aren't getting the nutrition your body desperatly needs right now.
In another topic, you were bragging about not having a PEG but given your weight loss your doctor should be insisting on the PEG if he wants to see you survive this and be around for a while afterwards.
I really love your spirit and how much you ahve survived in your life and that is why it just really concerns me that you would do this to your body, on top of what the cancer treatment is doing to your body. You need to get enough nutrition and clearly you are not getting enough of it orally. Other people here who say they are your friends, and who you regard as friends, should be pushing you to get the PEG too right now. If they really care about you and your your health, instead of some anti-PEG agenda, they would be.
