I wonder if that caused all my grief and I certainly don't want to go through that again if I can help it. I am trying to contact my dentist to see if I need a mouthgard or something, but I asked him a few years ago when I first noticed this sore and he said it didn't look like I had grinding or sharp teeth. I hope I didn't cause all this from lying on my left side while I was pregnant and chewing on my tongue....although I did find one article that claimed trauma had no correlation to dysplasia... | | | | Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) | Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I wish about now that I could bite my tongue, or whats left of it , but I would need teeth for that . I know I have been through a fraction of what you have been, and what I have seen has been scary as it is...the best of luck for your treatment, you are very courageous... | | |
