My husband goes back for a follow-up CT scan and appointment with his surgeon in a week. This will be the first visit since finishing his radiation and chemo treatments. He is still taking all nutrition through his PEG. I am sure there are a million questions we should ask when we see the doctor, but I feel like I am not thinking of them all. Any pertinent questions we should be asking? Thanks for any input.

All I could think about at that point was when I should stop taking the myriad of medications I was on, and feel like a real human being again. I never had a peg, but learning to eat again after all that ensure took awhile.

Most will come as soon as you leave the doctors office. LOL... Write any question down as soon as you think about it. Keep paper and pen handy, both of you. Don't say I'll write it down later because you will forget.
Obvious ones are:
How am I doing? How's my throat look and neck? When can I get the Peg out? Anything I should be on the lookout for? Anything I can do to help myself recover better? What about future scans? What about future appts? How long before you can guarantee I will never have cancer again? Just had to throw that one in. LOL
Most of the other questions you will have can easily be answered by all the people on this site who in many cases know far more than your docs about the recovery process.
