Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 54 | I haven't written in awhile. Just wanted to share with everyone that John went back to work today! Yeah! He is doing really well, starting to gain weight, most importantly back to his old self. I continue to be grateful and hopeful and hope for the best for all of you in these struggles. I am going to try and live each day with a little more attention, reverence and devotion...and have some fun!

Caregiver, Husband diagnosed 7/6/05 SCC left tonsil, T2N2bM0, Concurrent chemo/radiation begun 8/2/05 (Cisplatin). Received 2 cycles cisplatin, 38 radiation treatments. Completed course 9/27/05.

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
