My husband is 1 week out of Tx (7 week chemoradiotherapy protocol) and developed some serious looking moist desquamation.

The radiation nurse tells us to use ultraklenz and aquaphor on it until it heals. We saw sign of infection, odor, increased area and deepening of redness so he was just started on antibiotics.

Some research on the net says don't use aquaphor during this period and to limit cleansing. Others suggest biafine and to keep the area moist.

Any one have experience with either or something else that worked? He'd look/feel much better but for that - its painful. I am confused.
