I was looking back through some older post and I found something you posted not to long ago.

"The start of any journey begins with one step, The longer you travel this journey the more positive about it you become."

I know right now You are having a hard time with what the future might hold, but you have given so much to everyone here I only hope you realize how much that means to us. I remember soon after my mom was first diagnosed, she was doing some research online and she came across this place, she called me and told me about it and she told me about this guy that told his story and was soooo positve about everything. That person was you. In all that she was facing when she spoke of you, you gave her that hope that all would be ok. Even though she didnt post, she was a very faithful reader when first starting treatment. After awhile i just printed positive post out for her to read.

Danny u have given so much and i hope that u will stay strong and fight this disease. I came across this and thought of you.

Hold on. When the day isn't going the way that it should; when there are too many clouds in your sky; when the path you walk along takes a turn for the worse... hold on.

When something you're working on doesn't work out; when it seems there are less smiles than frowns; and just when things seem like they're about to fall apart... hold on.

It's okay to get discouraged, but don't ever give up. The sun is always up there...somewhere shining in the sky.

Reach out and do your best to chase the clouds away. And remember that every tomorrow is a whole new opportunity to begin anew in the light of a brand-new day.

Just hold on..and good things will surely come your way.

_Collin McCarty

Danny we are all pulling for you, and here for you. Thank you for all you do!!!

Danny, you have done that for so many of us and will continue to do so I pray. Your vision for us all has been one of Hope -- you have given us that great gift. We now share your grief but we will not lose our vision of Hope.

People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

It is dark now. Well hello..... window.

Hello All,

This past week has been the lowest point in my two year battle with this horrible diaease. I am trying to climb out of this pit i'm in. I will not tell you it's easy. I am trying my best to do so and all your replies to my news certainly
helps a great deal.
I am humbled by all the replies to my news. I really am just an ordinary guy who was lucky enough to stumble upon The Oral Cancer Foundation after dx. There were so many members who helped me I can't name them all without being afaid of offending someone I forgot. I blame that on chemo brain.
Some of the older posters have much more medical knowledge about oral cancer than I. I try and post from my heart and offer support to newcomers who are so afraid as they start there journey. I never fully realized the impact my postings have on people. I thank you all for supporting me and letting me know I am not forgotten.

Love Ya All, Danny Boy

Danny Boy,

You are NOT "just an ordinary guy"! I haven't been here long, but it doesn't take long to find that out.

I was so glad to see your post. Now I know that the fight has begun.

Good luck.

Jerry

Silly man. Of course you are not forgotten. We are, each of us, unique and what we have to offer the world is unique as well. You were "led" here for support and then you gave support and now you need it again. Don't you see Danny....it is all in the "grand plan."

I am praying for you everyday. May your Angel wrap you up in comfort.

Blessings and faith,
Barbara~
