Hello everyone

I completed radiation over 21 months ago but have developed a red 'rash' over the site of my radical neck dissection. It began as a small red area and has now spread upwards apparently following the scar line area. It is non itchy or sore, with spots of dry skin. Has been there about 4 months. Only bothers me because it is there! Allergy etc has been ruled out.

Has anyone had similar and how was it treated? Cortisone cream?

I'd be grateful for any clues, love and light from Helen

Hi Aussieh, Yes, I have the same redness even after 16 years. I use cortisone cream and hand
lotion on it. What part of Australia are you
from?

Thanks Cathy. It is reassuring to know that it is not unusual.
I live in a semi-rural area 2 hrs out of Sydney.
Love from Helen cool
