I was talking the other day to my mom and I asked her how she see's my dad's cancer. I have a question, sort of a poll, for everyone just out of curiosity. If you could draw the cancer, how would you draw it? How does your minds eye see it and how would you draw it on paper. Here is what I see. Like looking out over a harbor and there is this huge black, dark, cloud thing hanging over the harbor. A large black cloud mass.
My dad says he see's it as pirranahs. LOL, i thought that was funny. Just curious how everyone see's this thing.

Being a dentist, I probably have a very different perspective on this. My science background has allowed me to see my cancer only as it was. A lesion on my tongue, that looked absolutely harmless. In fact, it looked so harmless, that I never even suspected cancer and never even thought of photographing it, as I might have, if it had been on a patient's tongue.

I could, however draw it, just as it appeared, sitting on the lateral border of my tongue, like so many other harmless looking lesions that I see in the books that I read about oral cancer.

Well mine which I drew a week ago is a dark purple mass with a huge open mouth, three eyes and a person hanging out of its mouth with blood dripping off his fangs. Around him are military people shooting him with guns and throwing spears and swords at him. hahahahaahahaha

At least I know now I am still sane thanks to your post. LOL

Blessings,
Barb~

I see mine as a dark cloud mass to the west. Sometimes it goes south of me and sometimes it goes north of me. All the treatment I've had is directing it away from me for now. I wonder when it hits me again if I have what it takes to beat it back. Will I be another victim that will be forgotton in a few weeks? Life goes on!!!
