Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,676 | To set the stage- I am blind in one eye and have these funny things my opthomologist calls "floaters" in my other eye. So things are not always as they seem to me. Tonite, while visiting OCF I kept seeing this very small black dot running all over the screen and I thought it was either a floater or a glitch in the transmission. After about 30 min. of watching this
dot scamper here and there, I put my finger on my moniter and squashed it. Goodbye bug! Wish our other life challenges were that simple. Amy

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.

I was relieved to know those bizarre things that darted around in my eyes were actually real!  I had a detached retina in 1995 and they got incredibly bad until it was repaired. I'm sure I spared a lot of bugs on the screen thinking they were floaters.  Ed
