Yesterday they fit her a little on the tighter side, today they looked loose. She wasn't able to eat or drink last night due to pain. I just know that they are probably going to put her ng tube back in. I was surprised that they didn't replace it last week. She will be devastated, but honestly to me it would be a peace of mind, knowing that she was getting all that she needed during this time. I'm not going to say anything to her, I just made her cry last week when I was pushing her to drink the ensure plus. She is getting about 4 of them a day in most days, but she is still so very hungry. I really thought that when she had the brachy done it would have been so much easier and she would have been much further by now. I guess I didn't take into account the trach and left neck dissection.

Especially if she is actually hungry--that's a good sign!! MIGHT be the way forward? Dad just didn't get hungry, so finding him something to eat and trying to tempt him could turn into a battle. I still swear by the Oragel Max if my mouth's in pain, but I need to eat--10 mins before eating on pain areas, and I can manage it!

I was wondering why Kohl's stock price went up yesterday.
The ice cream diet sounds good. I remember the Ensure had no appeal to me. Has she tried yogurt?
Hopefully the trach will be out at her next visit.
