It was this.... After treatment you may be declared cancer-free, but that does not mean you are free of your cancer......... I was trying to explain the issues of survivorship.

When Lynn passed I was shocked. I had no idea she was that ill. I would have liked to email her more often than I did. Christine was kind enough to private email me with Scotts final couple of weeks. It would move anyone. As I continue to travel down this bumpy road I want to share my experiences with all my family on the OCF Website. I often wonder what it will be like if the chemo stops working. It's human nature to wonder about this.

Recurrance in June 05 in right tonsil area. Now receiving palliative chemo (Erbitux) starting 3/9/06

We are all in our own little world of denial but, for now the chemo is doing its job. Yeahhhh, all we need is time for someone to come up with that magic bullet. Caregiver to husband Pete, Dx 4/03 SCC Base of Tongue Stage IV. Chemo /Rad no surgery. Treatment finished 8/03. Doing great!
