Follow the guy in the Yellow shirt.
SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.

SCC Stage IV right tonsil T3N3M0. Dx 08/03. Clinical Trial:8 weeks Taxol, Carboplatin then Hydrea, 5FU, IMRT x's 48, SND, Iressa x 2yrs. Now 20 years out and thriving. Dealing with a Prostate cancer diagnosis now. Add a Bladder cancer diagnosis to all the fun.

Just found this post and skimmed the emails. Has anyone looked into the copyright for the Survivor T Shirt? How close can it be without problems from CBS?
Sorry if this has already been discussed, as I said I only skimmed.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.

I still like "From one survivor to another...", but it needs tweaked to give it some zip and I can't come up with anything. So, how about: Survivors Unite Follow Lance for the Win! or: Cancer Survivors Unite Follow Lance for the Win! or something like that. I also have the "yellow brick road" stuck in my head, for the winner's yellow jersey and following Lance in the yellow, but I just can't flesh it out. Help!  Rosie
Was primary caregiver to my daughter Heather who had stage IV base of tongue SCC w/ primary recurrence. Original diagnosis August 21st, 2002. Primary recurrence March 18th, 2003. Died October 6th, 2003.

But as long as it is not cost prohibitive, I second the motion for yellow. Minnie's suggestion of following the guy in the yellow shirt was good. Maybe our ideas can merge.
