Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I go to see Dr Ozer on Mon. the 15th of this month for my check up. My tongue has swollen and I am losing my sense of taste again. I also see the Cancer Study group after I see him. I have an idea we are going to discuss the radiation the Dr in Wheeling is hounding me about. I told Dr Ozer he is the man in charge about my treatment and whatever he says I do.. I have to go for a CT Scan on the 5th of Dec at the James Cancer Center too. Have a great day all.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Recurrence June/07 died July 29th/07.

Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 598 | Jim -- I have an appointment with Ozer tomorrow as well!!! Going over PET results -- I am hoping against hope that the lymph nodes that lit up are just a result of the lymphedema/fibrosis and related stuff from the radiation treatment, neck dissection and spinal fusion I have had over the last several months.
