Surgeon gut feel is good, but he will not take a chance and has decided to operate and remove whatever it is, then biopsy it. Certainly didn't expect to be having neck surgery again !!! I would at least want to see a CT or MRI of the "spot" in question before I went into the OR. You might want to consider a second opinion, always a safe bet.

He considered MRI etc, but said whatever the result was, he would still end up doing surgery, so why not make sure and just remove it. I really trust him, so I have agreed and have surgery on Feb 19th. | | |
