He is 14 radiation treatments into treatment and one chemo. He was going for his second chemo and the doctors said his numbers were down. He is scheduled for chemo tomarrow we think if all is good. Are blood transfusions normal?

I had high fever, low white blood cell count and when I was admitted to hospital, I had blood transfusion. I knew the doctor had prepared two packs of blood for me but my body had some kind of rejection and finally only one pack was used.
