My throat as you know have been so sore. Swallowing was like razor blades and chucks of glass as I am sure all of you know who have gone through this.

Thing is yesterday my throat suddenly improved I would say 75%. Is that normal? I mean I don't want a sore throat but I've never read where it gets better ...just worse.

I just fried two eggs and ate them. I smooshed them of course and fried then over light but last week I could'nt swallow them and now its no problem.

Did you experience that or someone you know?

Thank you and bless you,
Barb~

Don`t even bother analyzing it ..just enjoy the respite from the pain.
Hang in girl you are doing so well coping on your own the way you are.
I admire you greatly.

I had days that ranged from fair to horrific so remember those fair days!

Three more weeks of radiation is a lot to go. This isn't counting down to start your vacation. The radiation will actually continue to get worse up to 2 months post treatment. I am not trying to discourage you but I found it was helpful to understand the dynamics of it all. This is a disease that demands patience.

Thank you Marcia. That was a sweet thing for you to say.

Gary this will be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and believe me my life has rarely been easy. Why? Because patience is not one of my virtures unfortunately. I have 0% patience so I am glad you are all here to help me get through this.

You are my heros. Okay. I will "enjoy" this respite and try and not think about why or when it might be over.

Blessings,
Barbara~
