Sending you a great big hug and many many prayers. Is there no option for surgery? I remember talking to my moms ENT about treatment options after maximum radiation and he said the only option would be surgery. Please know there are many of us thinking of you everyday.

SCC R-Tonsil T2 NO MO Dec 2003. Completed IMRT Radiation only to tonsils(72Gy) and neck(55Gy)March 04. Detected at age 50.

I have a music box merry go round that I turn on when it's my 15 mo. old granddaughter's bedtime.It plays 25 songs. "Danny Boy" is one of them. While I was rocking her to sleep tonite, it played and there you were with us. I will never hear that song again that I don't think of you and the gifts of life you have shared with the rest of us. Mucoepidermoid carcinoma-intermediate grade. Removed 3/05. Additional surgery to get clean margins and selective neck dissection 4/05. 30 lymph nodes removed. All clear!!

Caregiver to husband Lee-Stage IV SCC base of tongue/epiglottis. Had total glossectomy/partial laryngectomy/ radical neck dissec 4/05 followed by chemo and rad.
