Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 156 | been for results of biopsy taken re sus growth+panendoscopy check for second tumour,all is well i was so over the moon i did not even ask what swelling was l.o.l.it dont matter .i am 12 months in remmision it was quite scary i am alive for another 4 weeks until my next check up YIPEEEEEEEE REGARDS MAZ  | | |

Most individuals don't understand why we get so excited over a good "Check-Up", They think just because we have a good check-up we have beaten this terrible disease, Not True. We live with fear that maybe the next check-up might be Bad News. But yet when people say well looks like you have beaten cancer we smile and say, "Sure looks like it". Maz, get excited, get real excited, and may it be your portion to stay Cancer free from now and for the rest of your time on this sphere.

SCCA T2N1M0 diagnosed 11/02, radical neck dissection, 7 weeks radiation, 6 surgeries to deal with osteonecrosis, 10 weeks hyperbaric oxygen. "Live strong. Laugh often."

Ed ..you hit the nail on the head ..its of no consequence how long treatment has been over the night before the PET is an absolute bummer. The imagination goes mad! At least mine does ..Pete on the other hand does not even consider the possiblity of a re-occurence. Just as well one of us is sane.
