Surgery last Tuesday. Everything went well removed 1.5 CM margin from my mouth and after trouble in locating the sentenial node, removed nodes from the right side of the neck. We will find out on Monday the results from the mouth and neck specimans. My prayers are with you all.

Take care.

John,

I am glad you have gotten this part over and I pray for healing and good results on Monday. I get confused whether to ask for positive news or negative news so I will ask for good news.

Is it John 6:18? If not, it would be quite appropriate for all of us to lay our fears on Him. Along the same lines, Phil 4:13 and Psalm 46:1-3. May God continue to bless you and all of us.

Ed

Hey John,
My prayers are with you...waiting on results is so very hard! Where in Tennessee do you live? I have a brother-in-law in Chattanooga that we plan to go visit soon...such a nice place! Well, take care and know that we are here and praying for you!
Debbie

P.S. Phil. 4:13 has always been my favorite Bible verse...now I know why!! It says..."I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me"! It and a great support system has gotton us thru so far!

Here's adding my best wishes for negative (no-cancer) results...

As for Bible verses, my favorite one comes out of 1 John: "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are!" I kept repeating that to myself the other day when I'd be tempted to get freaked out during my "gotta-stay-totally-still" PET Scan. It was very comforting...
