Ok, just a friendly reminder on Tuesday to remember to make time to get out and do the voting thing. Living in a country where Democracy is a foreign concept and is sometimes looked upon with amusement brings home the importance of exercising the privilege to vote for your government.

Probably this election, like no other every vote counts (ok, maybe not in Florida) and if there's a low voter turnout, I'm going to have a heck of a time explaining to my Chinese friends how in an important election like this, nobody really cared.

Doesn't matter who you vote for, go out and VOTE FOR SOMEBODY!!!

Off my soapbox

Bob

Hey, Bob, the votes in Florida may count as much this year as in 2000. Just because we don't know how to vote, or don't have the strength in our feeble little arms to push the little cardboard tab out through the little hole doesn't mean we don't count. However, I get your meaning. Anyone who has been outside the US, especially in a place where voting is not free, like where you are, or Afghanistan until this year, and Cuba still is, will understand the priviledge and duty we all have to elect our leaders. I agree, please vote on Tuesday if you haven't already voted in early voting or absentee ballots.
