They gave him the month of May off. Now they want him to have a chemo pump for 96 hrs 1 weeek per month for 3 months. He is not sure he wants to do this. He had such a terrible time with the first 3 rounds of chemo. He lsot 37 lbs. and has a peg tube in. He also started to take a few bites of solid food. Slow but sure. Has anyone experienced this? Would love to hear your imput. One day at a time for us!
CG to husband 53,39 rads. 3 rds cisplastin ended 6/2/07 Tonsils removed 1.10.07 11 of 20 nodes positive- lump removed on rt. side of neck 1/26/07 cancer of nasal pharnyx TXN2MX 2nd rd. of chemo- carbo/taxol on 6/11/07

It would be more helpful to know more about his Tx to date. How many rads did he complete? What was his chemo plan or did he complete his rads and 3 rds of chemo? Update your signature and you will get better responses.

Age 58 at Dx, HPV16+ SCC, Stage IV BOT+2 nodes, non smoker, casual drinker, exercise nut, Cisplatin x 3 & concurrent IMRT x 35,(70 Gy), no surgery, no Peg, Tx at Moffitt over Aug 06. Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
