Wife was diagnosed stage 4 SCC in upper pallate 3 weeks ago, and last week Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Went last week in isolation, clinical trial pill. White horse pill she had to take 1 first day 2 second....5 fifth day. Now awaiting blood and biopsy results. Anyone had both, and has any suggestions? She is being seen at the Thompson Cancer Clinic in Knoxville TN. They have increased chemo, and so far discontinued RT.

Hello, Rob, please forgive me for not having read your posts sooner. I know you both are in a "treading water" mode" right now. Hello Rob, I am so sorry to hear of your wife's diagnosis. I also was treated for a blood cancer (leukemia) and a late stage Nasopharyngeal cancer. Although mine were 18 months apart and to be truthful I have forgotten so much of what I had to go thru. I felt that if I could live 5 yrs that would be an amazing accomplishment. Well Rob it is 9 yrs ago that I was frightened out of my mind like both of you are now. There are so many wonderful people willing to share and guide you thru what lies ahead.
