To all my friends here at the Oral Cancer Foundation. MD Anderson called this am and agreed to see me!!! I have my first appointment scheduled for Monday, November 1st. The evaulation takes between 5 & 7 days. Could be longer if there is a treatment avaiable. I wanted to thank everyone who emailed me about waiting for the go ahead. It sure helps when you have so many people pulling for you. What ever happens at MD Anderson I am prepared to accept. If I am truly terminal at least I have the satification and peace of mind to know the best has reviewd my DX. I just happen to think I'll be around awhile!!!
Thank You Brian!!!
Love Ya All, Danny Boy

In my case the folks at M.D. Anderson only burned down part of the barn to get rid of the rats...but get rid of the rats they did. It is a little like the Army in that you might have to hurry up and wait a good bit during your visits to the various doctors there, but worth it, I hope.
I look forward to meeting you in person when you come to town. (and maybe the Texans can spank Tennessee this weekend for what they did to your beloved Packers last week).
Your friend, The other Danny

That is great news. I'm so glad all of us convinced you to give it a try. I will be in FL visiting my parents the week of Nov 1 so no computer, but will be pulling for you from there. Here's hoping they have something in their box of tricks to help you.
Take care, Eileen
