"Above & Beyond" Member (300+ posts) Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 417 | It is rare indeed for any Radiation Oncologist to agree to radiation therapy to tissue that has already been treated with RT. In virtually all cases, regardless of delivery method, they (Radiation Oncologists) treat you right up the the upper limit threshhold. Added Radiation to irradiated tissue usually results in more damage than good... Darrell
