Has anyone had this chemo drug or know anything about it? Side effects, results? My husband was offered it for his stage III tonsil cancer, but we haven't been able to find out much about it, except it's now being used for colon cancer.

Deborah,
Try this link to a recent story in the news section of the site http://www.oralcancerfoundation.org/news/story.asp?newsId=1172
Erbitux is the drug from Imclone that led to Martha Stewart's legal problems. The article talks about FDA approval for Erbitux with Radiation for treatment of Head and Neck cancers, and quotes some pretty remarkable numbers.

Good Health,

Chuck

I completed Erbitux treatment in addition to general radiation and chemotherapy at the end of April. Feeling and doing better and better as time goes on with clean scans since then. I have posted, as have a few others, about Erbitux so check out these posts. I believe my decision to have Erbitux was a good one for me. Send me an email if you wish and I will also be happy to respond in more detail.

Be well. Zenda
