My third grandaughter arrived today, Oct. 1, at 5:05 pm, one month early but very welcome! Mia Marie Wright weighed in at 5 pounds 1/2 ounce and 17 1/2 inches long. She is having difficulty breathing but IS doing it on her own. Mother (my daughter Charity) is doing fine although a little sick from having the Csection. Princess Mia is by far the smallest baby to date for this family. Her parents were going to name her Alexandria but changed their mind when they saw how tiny she is...............then they decided on a small name. She is in the infant intensive care but the doctors feel she is progressing well.
Man, I hope she can come home soon. I had forgotten how much I MISS a baby in the house!!
Love,
Minnie

Minnie,

Congratulations to you and your family! One of my nieces was also quite small at birth and confined to intensive care for awhile, but she has grown into a seemingly unstoppable bundle of adolescent energy -- smart, athletic and always able to hold her own.

Hope your granddaughter will be able to leave the hospital soon.

Cathy

Congratulations Minniea,

It's been so long for Marcee and I. We almost forget what it's like having a newborn in the house. Our two are 26 & 24. No grandchildren in sight. Remember it's always the little ones that have the most fight in them. Hoping she comes home soon.

Did you receive the picture album from shutterfly I sent?

Hey Minnie,
Congratulations...I feel like Danny Boy with sons 20 and 25 we have not been around any little ones for way too long. I guess one advantage of having a houseful like yourself is that you are pretty much guaranteed little ones around and lots of excitement. I do miss that!!
God bless you and your whole big family!
Debbie
