Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 55 | John finished chemo, radiation (finished Sept 8) and now a modified (??) radical neck surgery appx four weeks ago. He is asking when he should see a dentist for a cleaning etc. I asked the dentist who said ask the doctor. I think she will defer back to him. Any personal experience with this?

Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 102 | My husband, who finished radiation 2 and 1/2 years ago, goes to the dentist every three months for cleaning and checkup. Don't know if that is what most people do, but that is what he was told.
