Back to the left coast, I haven't heard the Hokey Pokey since elementary school, and certainly not at a wedding! It seems that I have been missing out. Story of my life ...

Hey Bob, Glad to hear the last x-ray is normal. (I told you so :p )

Hypothyroid symptoms include shortness of breath. The thyroid imbalance makes the blood less able to carry oxygen. It is part of the whole metabolic slowing which comes with hypothyroid. If you have had the test recently then this post is for the benefit of all the other readers, if you haven't then go for it.

See you in Vegas!

No comment about the Hokey Pokey!

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.

Aw, c'mon Mark,

No comment on the Hokey Pokey? It is definitely an East Coast tradition. We even learned it in phys ed class in elementary school.
C'mon now, everybody join in:

Put your left foot in,
Put your left foot out,
Put your left foot in,
Now you shake it all about.......

or something like that anyway!!!

Smiles, giggles & grins, smile wink laugh

From my California childhood I recall that it went something like this "You put your left foot in, take your left foot out, Put your left foot in and you shake it all about. Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around. That's what its all about!" laugh laugh And it may be!! - Candace

Like Gary, we always did the Hokey Pokey at the roller ring...most fun being "put your back side in, put your back side out, put your back side in and shake it all about and we surely did that. Living in Alabama now, I'll have to ask what ya'll did here! Trying to get use to the lingo!

Bob - isn't "normal" such a soothing word to hear now?! I like normal more than ever!
So glad for your news and you are in my prayers everyday.
Deb

Thanks Debbie, "Normal" is nice to hear, at least on the health scene. I've always sort of prided myself on being slightly un-normal otherwise. Like doing the duck dance when everyone else was doing the hokey pokey.

Guess I'm going to have duck dance and hokey pokey at the banquet.

Bob
