Stand by for the dentists to jump in here some time soon!
Lata, you've come to the best site, and although the advice will be to talk to specialists, of course, people will offer you comfort and advice based on their own knowledge and experience.
hang in there.

Do a search on the message boards -- the link is at the top of each page -- for postings by dileep, a medical oncologist (chemotherapy expert) in India who had surgery in August to remove a cancer in his cheek. Once you can see his profile, you can get his e-mail address to write him, or you can send him a private message through this site. I expect he could provide you with specific advice concerning the best treatments and facilities available in India.

You certainly have come to the right place to learn. Once you know a little more about your boyfriend's condition, you will find lots of helpful information both on these message boards and on the main part of the site.

All the best,
Leslie

Lata,
I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend's recent diagnosis. My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this time.
If you could it would be helpful if you could tell me exactly what the diagnosis from the pathology report was. "15 pop positive CA - Leukoplakia." I have been doing some research for you but have come up empty handed on this one. I can help you with the leukoplakia but the rest seems to be a mystery even on my medline professional search.

Cheers,

Mike
