Hi
Been lurking for ages and now we are back. Unfortunately with a pressing question.

Bob on his three year annual visit last week went for a chest x-ray ordered by his ENT. A baseline X-Ray was taken two years ago one year after treatment.
His ENT says there is something on the X-Ray that was not on the baseline. He is ordering a CT next week. He suggested it could just be a vessel? and not to worry yet? I searched and saw several people have had an inflamation that showed up as a something. Did they have a cold or symptoms before hand? Bob hasn't. I am thinking if it was scar tissue or something from the radiation it would have showed up on the one year baseline. He has not had pneumonia or anything major respitory that we can we think of since. His last PET was last year this time ordered by his Rads Doc and it was negative. Just like everybody else I know it is not C until it is C but it is hard to wait and wonder. Trying to be positive but?.
Thanks Denise

Deep breath Denise,
From what i have seen over the last few months it is not uncommon to have these vague shadows and dubious areas after treatment check out some other posts cos for the most part they seem to amount to nothing.

Fingers crossed

Denise,
It's best they err on the side of caution rather than just pass it off as no big deal.
Keep positive.
All the best
Michelle

Hurray!!! What a great post, I'm glad you are no longer living with an elephant in the room. (Those elephants take up WAY too much space.)

What wonderful news that your husband is doing well!!
