The surgeon said that he thinks it will not be anything serious but he wants to get it out to be sure. I'm assuming this is a fairly routine procedure but hopefully its benign and ill finally be able to put this crap to rest. thanks

I've been wondering how you were doing. I hope this biopsy is great news and can put your mind to rest. I know the wondering and waiting is the most difficult. Pls let us know the outcome!
Stay strong, Michelle G.

I know I've really been dramatic, sorry. So far ive had the same ent scope me three times, once under anesthesia during a biopsy of the base of my tongue and it all came back ok. I've also had a ct scan which came back normal. Me being me I doubt the ct because they couldn't get the contrast in, and the scopes I doubt because I have heard of alot of people with occult primaries that were never found. And to make things worse I have read of many many people who were mis-diagnosed for months and even more than a year! If i had no lymph node and my symptoms were gone I'd be happy. I just want a diagnosis, I've been chasing this for 7 months now ever since I had a stupid flu in october, lol. All the ent can say is he doesn't know whats wrong and "maybe" its lingual tonsilitis. He proposed to send me to get a lingual tonsilectomy and said maybe that would help? That doesn't sit right with me lol. I dunno I'm scared shitless and don't have anyone to talk to like this.

You're one sick f**k all right. I have spoke to Brian about having you banned from here. It's almost like you WANT to have cancer. We know that you are on this sympathy quest from other forums as well. Give it up Ronnie - we're on to you.

This wasn't suggested by my ent. and its been there since October, although it doesnt seem to be enlarging. I'm not looking for sympathy I'm trying to see what people who have actual experience with this think. Like I said if I didn't have any symptoms I wouldnt be wondering whats wrong either. I dont want t have it I just want to catch it early as possible if I do.

He said he didn't think it was cancer, but of course I know I need to wait for the pathology report. I should have the results back in about a week. Anyway I need to wait for the report. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Guess at this point I still dont know whats up with me but, I don't even care now since it couldn't be anything serious and will just go back to my appointment on monday and see what they think. Thanks again.

You need psychiatric care really bad. You should be ashamed of yourself for wasting our time here.
Don't get sucked into this fools "good news" - he never had cancer to begin with.
