Karey - when my sister ws originally diagnosed it was a week for the biopsy result. Seems once you're a patient and into the "system" test results happen faster. Are you at the original diagnosis stage?

Florida. Remember, patience is a virtue and worrying about things never makes them go faster, better, or anything else. Hang in there.

Welcome to our world. Hopefully your stay here will be a short one. "It ain't cancer til they say it's cancer"
Sounds like you got your answer on the biospy. I was wondering where they are taking the biospy from? Also have you had any scans yet, MRI, PET or CAT scans of the area? IF this biospy comes up positive you need to go back to some of the older post's that talk about what you should be asking at these initial appointments. This information will empower you to take an active roll in treatment decisions.
Are you seeing a ENT doctor alone? Are you seeing a radiation on'gist and a medical on'gist? The best chance if it's cancer is to hammer it the first go around.
Again I welcome you to the Oral Cancer Foundation. You can post just about any question you can think of here and usually you will have several replies.
Your New Friend, Danny Boy
