Sandra........Wating for test results is always difficult and there are no magic words to make the time pass more quickly, you'll just have to hang tight and wait it out. IF you are diagnosed with cancer...and that is a BIG IF, your Doctor will then be able to answer any questions that you may have and that is where this forum will come in handy. SCC first time 1989, with a diagnoses of 'cancer in situ' removed lesion, no other treatments. SCC recurrence 1997 of tongue and floor of the mouth. Stage III /IV Hemmiglossectomy (removed over 60% of tongue/ floor of the mouth), free flap, modified neck, RAD and Chemo(cisplatin, 5fu) simutainously. Cancer free 6, yes, six, years!
