Hello,
My story and symptoms are a bit different than most. I am 25 years old and chewed tobacco for 4.5 years until I quit 3 months ago. I have a constant burning sensation on on side of my tongue. There are no ulcers or color changes in the tongue tissue, just the burning.

I was wondering if anyone has had this?

A dentist and oral surgeon have told me it may be from abraision, tooth rubbing, etc...but not cancer. No biopseys have been done as there is no lesion or "area" to focus on. I'm just a little worried so any advice would be appreciated. Thank You

Yes my sister had that symptom...go to the doctors right away!!! Please.......she was diagnosed with oral cancer and she had the burning in her tongue and no one would listen to her...she had surgery and they removed the tumor now they have given her 6 months to live. Please run to the doctors as fast as you can and keep going to someone listens.......
