I am 25 years old and chewed tobacco for 4.5 years until I quit 3 months ago. I have a constant burning sensation on on side of my tongue. There are no ulcers or color changes in the tongue tissue, just the burning.
I was wondering if anyone has had this?
A dentist and oral surgeon have told me it may be from abraision, tooth rubbing, etc...but not cancer. No biopseys have been done as there is no lesion or "area" to focus on. I'm just a little worried so any advice would be appreciated. Thank You | | |
