Happy Mother's Day!!
So many of you have truly inspired me. I am not a mother, but I couldn't have gotten through all this without my mother's love and support.
I hope you all get treated like queens! Have a great Day, Love Sharon

They usually get her drugs for pain management and then send her home again.! She is 65 and on medicare and 2 weeks ago we tried to tell my mom and dad that they need to move her down to John Hopkins and find out what is wrong. Sometimes local hospitals do not want to be helpful like that, but if I have learned anything thru Dan's cancer...it's to be proactive and persistent. They are talking about trying to get her to Hopkins beginning of week. My mother-in-law is a totally "awesome" strong and courageous and caring woman...we are best friends. She lost her husband and Dan's father to cancer of the esophagus 10 years ago. He was an alcoholic and heavy smoker, and in a few wars so we attributed his cancer to that. Now that one of his sons has oral cancer, we are wondering about the gene factor! Anyway, I have a very thankful husband who is alive and recuperating....at this point I feel very blessed as he is coming along and that I have two grown boys and we all getting along well...I pray my mom will be okay..but God is good and I do feel very blessed as a Mother! Thanks Sharon for your thoughtful note! Debbie
