Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 1 | I was just told I have oral cancer! It looks like it’s going to be interesting to say the least. I don’t know what happens next but I sure hope the doctors do!

I'm wishing you well and hope you'll share your treatment plan once you get one. I jumped through a lot of hoops, but I got my diagnosis April 29th and I'm going into surgery June 27th.

Hey, I was 44, never smoked or chewed in my life, and I was absolutely shocked to learn I had oral cancer, and then learn the hard way what a 'partial glossectomy' is. I am 50 now, and am still battling my 3rd occurrence of OC. (although I have heard my docs say "tongue cancer." whatever.) Best wishes to you!

Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 5 Likes: 3 | I was just told I have cancer on my tongue , I am 62 and never smoked or chewed , anxiety is through the roof , Diagnosed on the 27 but dont have appt for the next step until 7/18 . Seems once confirmed they would move quicker ?
