I have been a heavy chewing tobacco user on and off for about 2 years. I have sores that won’t go away after 4 days or so, some gum irritation, slight headaches, and breakout in acne randomly in a couple areas. I’m 23 and fit, and completely quit use after seeing these symptoms. Is there anyway to reverse this and if so what can I do. I am feeling slightly better each day, but my mouth is staying the same. Not as many headaches and little to no swelling under jaw. Thanks

Hi Brendan,

Sorry to hear you're in such pain. Permanently stopping using chewing tobacco (and any smoking paraphernalia) is a good way to improve overall health. So well done for stopping.
It's best to see a specialist ENT to see why you're in pain. There are so many reasons as to why you have pain, not necessarily OC. Get yourself checked ASAP to ease your mind.
