Hello everyone. I'm going to go by the name of slinger,
Just because. I am 3 weeks post surgery. They removed my tonsils and some soft tissue on left side of throat plus 12 lymph nodes from my neck. The surgeon says that they are sure that all cancer has been removed, so no radiation is needed, thank Jesus.
Anyhow I have a feeding tube through my nose. Can't swallow to well yet and my tongue is numb. Have been trying to get pudding and yogart down but it tries to go down the wrong tube and I wind up choking. Looking for any answers as to when the numbness will go away and if I will be able to ever eat again? By the way my cancer was caused from the HPV 16. Thanks.
