Tomorrow I return to work!!!!! Tuesday I have my PEG tube removed!!!! It's really the first day of my new life. I intend to make the best of it. I was in sales and enjoyed it allot. Due to my voice being a little screwy they offered a production manager position to me. Scheduling crews, ordering materials and customer service. I still want to sell due to meeting new people everyday. I enjoy meeting new people and the selling was very natural for me. Looking forward to getting up at 5am again and to actually due something constructive. I now realize being off for 8 months was way to long for me. My wife and I purchased a new home in October and I finaly got my basement workshop completed, painted the walls and floor. Installed shelving sections floor to cieling 3' deep and 24' long. My wife is a pack rat!!!! Also installed a new pool table. It gets allot of use. Thanks for letting me ramble on!!!

The first day back to work is sometimes a nervous one, how will people react, etc, but is also a great feeling. One of the major milestones of recovery.
Good luck. Bob

See, that light at the end of the tunnel wasn't an oncoming train. It was the one hanging over the pool table.
Best of luck to you, and being in sales also, I can tell you that my voice did come back. I just carry a bottle of water in my briefcase. (and don't have to use it quite as much as before)
You'll do well at whatever job you perform. You are that kind of person.

Those things return a lot more slowly for many people.
