When does this usually return? | | | | Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 Administrator, Director of Patient Support Services Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) | Administrator, Director of Patient Support Services Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | No appetite is something most OC patients struggle with during the beginning of their recovery. This is a perfect example of the "everybodys different" situations. For some, its months while others only deal with no appetite for a few weeks.
I suggest mentioning this to his doc on the next appointment or if his next appointment isnt for a while, try calling the nurses to see if they have any suggestions. Ask his team if theres a nutritionist at the treatment facility he could work with. Nutritionists have all kinds of ideas and suggestions that might be helpful.
