New to the forum. About 20 years ago I saw my FIL as a patient. We asked him to stop smoking his pipe for two weeks so we can see how the tissue rebounded. Never saw him again. He now has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma and is in radiation tx. They are foregoing chem and surgery due to his age. He also has advancing dementia. It’s hard to watch because I know things only get worse. This forum will be really helpful!
