Hello—I am caregiver for my husband who is 7 weeks out from the end of chemo & radiation. I am so grateful to have found this forum as it assures both of us that we’re not experiencing this alone.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry you have to join our group of friends but hopefully you’ll find the support that you need. There are a lot of knowledgeable members here although none of us is a medical professional. We are caregivers and patients who help by sharing our experience and what we have learned from it. You are certainly not alone on this cancer journey.

Did it take a long time for the thick rope,Ike mucous to resolve? My husband is 7 weeks post treatment and it’s still too painful to swallow. He’s had a feeding tube since mid-July.
