hugs to you! I'm a caregiver and I have never dealt with depression and anxiety but going through the cancer journey is stressful and I struggle a lot these days. I am surrounded by several people on the same journey. Don't discredit what you feel. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep looking ahead and take one day at a time, it's all we can handle anyway.

Stage I essentially means that you have a very small tumor with most likely no lymph node involvement. So it terms of cancer, this is very promising news. Your doctor should be able to answer any questions for you as far as the next steps to get you back to being completely healthy.

If you are feeling distressed, scared, depressed, etc., please reach out and talk to someone. When I received my cancer diagnosis I talked to several friends all the time to help me work through all the new feelings of anxiety and nervousness. Please reach out to those that care about you for help. Your mental health is important along with your physical health.

Best of luck to you on your journey to becoming cancer free.

You'll die but it shouldn't be from stage 1 cancer.

My first cancer operation was in 2003 for stage 1 and my doctors do not detect any cancer in me at this time.
